I write these words as I sip too-hot coffee that scalds my tongue (the pain is unbearable, but the coffee is worth it). I decided to try to find a creative outlet online. The AI content slop is filling the internet with recycled content, and it’s getting pale and boring. I created this website for cheapish 20$+- for a year of hosting, so don’t expect a lot from it now. I don’t know yet what I seek to get out of it fully. Probably that’s the fun part. – I have no restraints!
To introduce myself: I am a 30-year-old Lithuanian, a truck driver, living and working in Germany. Having worked in many fields and countries during my lifetime, I think I can say I have an extensive library of skills and knowledge, and yet. Like many of us, I feel sometimes lost or chasing goals while at the back of my mind my mind whispers we’re all going to die. -It’s not worth it (Not in a depressive way. More like nihilistic type thought.)
For the last two years, I have been on a path to pursue a profitable day trading/swing trading personal skillset. Although I am still recovering from Lyme disease, I think I have made big progress in this endeavor. I plan to share what I have learned and discovered in this field. And what Ideas I might have.
Also, in the span of 3 years, during my disease, I have gained and lost substantial weight and now have regained too much. I want to create a routine where I have energy and time to do regular sports so that I can lose overall 20kg. I want to see myself with abs one day. I think putting these thoughts out on the internet might help me no to abandon this responsibility to take care of my health via healthy food and sports.
You won’t find me on any social media websites. Maybe LinkedIn, but I think I deleted that too. In my opinion, these websites have too much short-form content. And I was giving away too much of my attention to them (I wanted to say stealing my attention, but it is my responsibility to control my (our) attention).
I also dabble in political topics. Sometimes I find it hard to believe openly available sources about current topics, but since I am European, I support Europe.
